This was one of the more realistic tests I wanted to run with Alfina. I brushed out Remi and ended up with a pretty good amount of loose fur. Instead of just leaving it on the surface, I rubbed it into the rug a bit to mimic how pet hair actually builds up over time.
Remi was very interested in reclaiming the pile, but once that was dealt with, I let Alfina run a normal cleaning pass over the area.
The goal here was to see how it handles hair that’s slightly embedded rather than just sitting on top. After the run, most of the hair had been pulled out, which is usually where I’ve seen other robot vacuums fall short (yes, sadly even Alfred Jr. struggles with this).
It’s still early, but this feels like a strong result for maintaining carpets in a home with pets.
