What a Base

This base station packs a lot of punch for its size, which measures in at  18.03 inches in length, 16.54 inches wide and 18.5 inches high.  Converted to mm would be 458X420X470.

It houses the dust bag, and dual detergent solution tank neatly behind the front door.  A clean water tank and a dirty water tank are located up top under the lid.  Underneath is where the robot charges, empties the dustbin into the dust bag and washes and dries the mop pads as well as filling the robot’s internal tank with water.

This even goes so far as to when it is emptying the dust bin into the vacuum bag, air that is from the base station’s fan is blown back onto the dust bins HEPA Filter to help remove dust and aid in the unclogging that can occur over time affecting the vacuum’s suction power and effectiveness.  It even goes so far as well as it blows warm air through the vacuum bag so as to help prevent mold build-up, although there shouldn’t be anything damp getting into the vacuum bag, although I guess damp fur or hair is always possible, it is just another one of those “Little MOVA” attention to detail things that I appreciate.

One point to be aware of is, there is a power switch on the back of the base station, remember to switch it to the ON position before using the robot vac.
