[V50 Ultra Complete] Maintenance Check: Filters, Brushes, Tanks, and Dock Access

After 2-3 weeks of cleaning with the MOVA V50 Ultra Complete, I wanted to take a closer look at the maintenance side of it. Not the flashy features this time, but the parts you actually end up checking, cleaning, removing, or replacing over time.

With the magnetic top cover removed in image #1, you can see the dust box area where the debris is collected. I like that this section is easy to access without having to fight with clips or awkward plastic tabs. Image #2 gives a closer look at the dust box and filter. After bigger cleanups, this is probably one of the first places I would check, especially if the robot picked up fine dust, small debris, or anything that could clog the filter.

Image #3 shows the underside of the V50 with the regular parts still installed. You can see the mop pads, the side brush, and the main anti-tangle brush area. In image #4, I removed those parts so they are easier to see separately. The mop pads come off easily, the side brush is simple to remove, and the main brush area is easy to access if you ever want to inspect it or clean around it. Because of the anti-tangle brush design, I would not expect to be constantly cutting hair or thread out of it like with some older robot vacuums.

The dock is also pretty straightforward. In image #5, you can see the compartment with the dust bag and the two compartment cleaning solution container. "A" is for the floor cleaning solution, and "B" is for the pet odor solution. Image #6 shows those the dust bag and the cleaning solution container removed from the dock. They are easy to pull out and put back in, which is good because those are the kind of things you do not want to overcomplicate.

Images #7 and #8 show the clean and dirty water tanks. Image #7 shows them removed, and image #8 shows them sitting back in the dock. These are larger pieces, but they still feel easy enough to handle for regular refilling and emptying.

One thing I also appreciated is that my V50 came with a good amount of extra maintenance parts in the box. Your mileage may vary depending on package, region, or promotion, but it was nice to see spare items included since filters, mop pads, brushes, and bags are things that eventually wear out.

Overall, the maintenance layout feels well thought out. The main serviceable parts are easy to reach, most pieces come out without much effort, and it does not feel like you need to take half the robot apart just to keep it clean and running properly.

Disclosure: MOVA provided me with the V50 Ultra Complete as part of their trial program. The photos and opinions are my own. #sponsored
