Hello,
You may run through these quick checks first:
The robot can detect obstacles and slow down to cushion impacts. Still, it might fail to spot dark reflective items, thin table legs or low obstacles and won’t brake in advance, which is expected. You can add virtual walls or restricted zones inside App-Map Edit to help it avoid trouble spots.
Please make sure “AI Intelligent Recognition” is turned on in the App. Wipe the AI lens regularly with a soft dry cloth to remove dust and fingerprints.
For flexible obstacles like curtains or slightly ajar doors, the robot will slow down and make gentle contact — this is normal behavior.
Poor lighting weakens AI visual recognition, so better use this function under sufficient light. A cluttered space can also slow down the AI processing, tidying up the area will help.
The robot supports OTA updates. We keep refining obstacle avoidance performance, so remember to check and update firmware regularly.
If the issue remains after these steps, please share your device to account QR033438, provide the device SN and upload logs. Our technical team will check whether the camera is causing the problem.
