[MOVA Diver A10] Battery Longevity

Last edited by HL390545 on 2026-9-3 05:13

After the pool robot finishes cleaning, its battery level is often under 10%. For Lithium based batteries it is not advisable to leave a battery at such a low SOC for a long duration. Do you recommend charging the battery back to 100%? i understand that also keeping the battery at 100% for a long duration is also not recommended. Can we add a feature to stop charging when it reaches 50%? Similary, for pool operation, have the robot stop when it reaches a custom value like 30%?Is the 10% that the app reports real or is there some buffer?

Helllo, thank you for your feedback. Please note the following for long‑term storage of the robot:
1. Remove the robot from the pool and drain all water.
2. Power off the robot and disconnect the power supply before storage. It is recommended to store the robot with the battery level between 80%‑100%, and keeping it within this range is acceptable.
3. Store the robot in an environment with temperature ranging from ‑10℃ to 60℃ (14℉ to 140℉). Please comply with the requirements below:
‑ Store it in a cool, dry indoor place, away from direct sunlight, rain and frost.
‑ Keep it away from extreme temperatures, open flames and areas accessible to children.
‑ Protect the robot from dust for long‑term storage.
Fully charge the battery before reusing the robot.
We will forward your suggestions to the product team for evaluation on custom charging limit settings and return‑to‑charge upper limits.
Regarding your question whether the 10% battery shown in the App is actual battery level or includes a buffer: please rest assured that it displays the real battery level.
