We have been testing out the Mova V50 Ultra Complete for a few days now, and I have to say I am blown away by how quiet this vacuum is. In the past, vacuum cleaning meant that the environment being cleaned changed dynamically- either people moved away to settle elsewhere or the volume of conversation, music or the TV went up. Not with this! We have been sitting in our living room, watching tv or chatting away on the phone while the vacuum is running and we barely have to raise our voices or turn up the tv. It is remarkably more discreet than our previous big brand robot vacuum, whom we’ve since retired.
Even on carpets, with the cleaning boost on, we can still comfortably hold a conversation. The vacuum running at night doesn’t disturb any sleeping household members either, it’s so quiet. Plus, the Do Not Disturb settings add an extra layer of confidence in making sure the robot doesn’t jolt anyone in their slumber, with thoughtful features like waiting to auto empty until DND hours are over.
Speaking about night time cleaning, the Mova V50 Ultra Complete has all of the bells and whistles to allow it to perform even when the lights are off. We predominantly have ours set to run overnight. This gives us a chance to do a really quick tidy up with the kids before bed and then wake up to a clean home.
The Mova is equipped with a light that turns on in low light conditions to allow its camera to see and avoid obstacles. Even when running without any other ambient lighting, the vacuum correctly identifies obstacles, avoiding damages and keeping itself from getting stuck. We have not noticed any performance differences from daytime to night time cleaning, which is a huge positive if you are looking to have your cleanings occur while you slumber.
Even our cats aren’t bothered by the noise, as is evident in the photo I have attached. Our cat, Gilmour, the most skittish of the bunch is quietly kneading away at his blanket while Mova vacuums and mops just inches away from him. And Zorro, the bunny…. he's just hoping the vacuum might be bringing snacks.
