One feature I didn’t really think much about going in but ended up testing out of curiosity is the live camera view built into the V50.
Through the app, you can actually access a real-time camera feed from Alfina and see what’s going on from her perspective as she moves around the house. I tried it while she was doing a cleaning run on the main floor, and it was surprisingly responsive and easy to use.
It’s not something I originally considered essential for a robot vacuum, but I can see some practical uses for it. For example, being able to quickly check on a room remotely, or even just see where the vacuum is during a run without physically going to look. I think it could be helpfully in a pinch when you're on the go or even traveling and want to check in on the home.
As a bonus, it also doubles as a way to check in on the cats although they seem far more interested in Alfina than the other way around. The video/picture quality isn't amazing, but it is more than good enough. Definitely one of those features that feels like an extra at first, but ends up being more useful than expected.
