Under the couch.
This is the one. The P50 Ultra couldn't get under my couch at all. The sensor doesn't retract, so it would hit the edge and turn around every single time. The V50 just goes under. First run it came out with a collection of dust bunnies that had apparently been living there for months. Genuinely did not expect that much. Worth the upgrade for this alone, at least in my house.
The climbing feature.
The V50 can climb over the bottom bar on chairs, the kind with a low crossbar running along the base. I can see how that would be useful depending on your setup. For my place, there hasn't really been a situation where it's made a difference. Not a knock on it, just not something I personally needed.
Battery.
Running slightly shorter than the P50 Ultra so far. My guess is it's actually cleaning more ground now that it can get under furniture it used to skip. Could be working harder, not dying faster. I'll see how it tracks over the next few runs before I form an opinion on it.
The cat.
Spent most of the session watching it from across the room. Then it got too close while he was napping and he ran. No contact was made. I think we're in a cold war phase.
Still happy with the switch. More to come.
