I don’t think I can pick just one!
My prime fall picks:
My current wishlist includes the Turbojet leaf blower, the instaload string trimmer, the Mova S20 Pro espresso machine (not in North America yet), LB10 prime robot litter box, WF10 pet water fountain, PF10 pet feeder window and the new V70 Ultra complete. I’m also excited for the robot snow blower SX1 if it makes its way to Canada. I’ve got to pace myself haha.
But… if I had to pick the one I’m most excited to get my hands on, it would be the revolutionary Mova Palette 300!
I want it because:
The specs seem fantastic! 12 nozzles seems insane! I don’t think I’d ever have to swap filaments ever other than to refill. I use a pretty high end printer for work, but the specs on this blow it out of the water! I’m excited to have a printer for at home. The Palette 300 allows for a hot end temp of 350c and chamber temp of 65c so can be used for engineering type materials too for super durable functional parts. 800 mm/s speed is also super competitive (not the fastest on the market, but faster than I’d ever feel comfortable doing a print haha). Its acceleration is listed as 25000mm/s^2 in the specs, but 20000 elsewhere. If it’s able to achieve 25000mm/s^2, that’s 25% more than most premium printers which is insane! Love the built in drying too without any add on accessories. Love how quiet it’s supposed to be too!
The one thing I haven’t been able to find is the accuracy of it, under the specs it lists 100 +/- 0.1mm, so I’m assuming 0.1mm which is on par with other high end 3d printers.
I was also curious what slicer it uses, and it looks like it’s their own software based off of orcaslicer. The software is open source too which is great!
Looking at it more it also has an on-board hepa filter which is much appreciated. I was slightly skeptical of how the nozzles were going to be heated as I thought that would eat up a ton of time, but it looks like the print heads are preheated in the carousel so the swap speed is able to be kept at 8-10s. Very cool stuff!
It’s not for sale yet but there is a presale price of 999 usd for the printer or 1299 usd with the 6 slot filament box with a 50$ deposit, so I will definitely be keeping my eye on this 👀.
