[P10 Ultra] Problems

My unit only mops sporadically and does not cover the entire floor. There are sections of the floor that are mopped but then sections that are completely dry. And then there are sections that are not touched by the unit at all. Please help!

Hello, regarding the issue you mentioned about “uneven mopping and certain areas not being cleaned,” please try the following troubleshooting steps:

- Space width limitation: The robot cannot enter very narrow areas. It is recommended that the cleaning area be at least 2 cm wider on each side than the robot itself to allow smooth entry.

- Carpet at the doorway: If there is a carpet at the doorway while in mopping mode, the robot may avoid entering the room due to its obstacle avoidance strategy. Please remove the carpet and try cleaning again.

- Map overlap issue: If there is overlapping in the map, it may cause positioning errors and result in missed areas. In this case, please try rebuilding or restoring the map.

- Floor clutter interference: If there are long-haired carpets, wires, or other obstacles at the entrance of a room, the robot may avoid them. Please clear the floor before cleaning.

- Threshold height limitation: The robot can climb over obstacles up to approximately 2.2 cm in height. If the threshold exceeds this height, it may not be able to pass through the area smoothly.

- Cleaning around obstacles: When encountering obstacles, the robot will clean around them. There may be a small area near the obstacle that is missed, which is normal.

- Sensor cleaning: Please regularly wipe the robot’s line laser and LDS sensors. If the sensors are dirty, the robot may mistakenly identify the front as an obstacle, leading to missed cleaning.
