Hidden dust, meet your match!

When shopping for a robot vacuum, many people want it all- powerful, capable of picking up pet hair and debris, and able to get into all the corners and under the furniture. The Mova V50 Ultra Complete robot vacuum is the closest we’ve come yet to checking all the boxes, especially when it comes to getting into low lying areas. Sure, it can’t fit under all of our furniture (neither can our manual vacuums), but it can go under an impressively large amount- any that I could do with my lay-flat upright vacuum, the Mova V50 can easily do on its own!
Take for example these loveseats, which barely have 5" clearance under them. Our upright vacuum struggles with these (as did I navigating it, bending over and manually cleaning with my bad back!). On the other hand, our Mova glides right up to the edge of our couch with its LDS tower raised, yet seamlessly retracts the sensor to lower its profile and allow it to slide effortlessly under the couch for a complete clean. Dust bunnies be gone!
I will say that the vacuum is noticeably less graceful in performing its duties when its sensing tower is lowered, and does take longer to clean an area where it doesn’t have these sensors to rely on, but it still gets the job done and doesn’t seem to miss a spot.
You do have the option in the app to adjust the Auto-Lifting of the LDS,  which is a nice feature for added flexibility, according to your needs. You can tell Mova not to lower LDS or to engage “security coverage” which means the robot will only enter low clearance areas slightly higher than the body for cleaning. There’s also “extreme coverage” (in beta) where the robot will enter a low area that is flush with the body for cleaning.
We didn’t want to scratch up our vacuum, so we’ve left it on “security coverage” and it’s doing a great job under our couches…and I am relieved not to be needing to pull out the upright vacuum to tackle this awkward job!
That’s a win for a little extra free time, thanks to the Mova V50.
