Obstacle avoidance is a big deal around here. Our kids are young and aren't always the best about picking up after themselves, plus we have cats that love to cause chaos. We were really excited to try the Mova V50, in part because of its advanced obstacle avoidance with AI object identification. So far we are really pleased!
The video shows several common objects that end up on the floor around here: shoes, cloths, toys, cords, paper.
As you can see, the vacuum fails to recognize the paper as an obstacle (though it doesn't impede it's vacuuming session) but successfully avoids other obstacles.
The largest area of critique is that it struggles with very small cat toys or thinner items. But, look how the vacuum navigates through the barstool legs with ease!
I imagine most people will be highly satisfied with the recognition for potential hazards that the V50 has. We try and clean up at the end of the day, but we have piece of mind that if we miss things the Mova isn't going to get lost or fail to clean. It's an excellent robot vac!
