This is another innovative system included on the Mova V50 Ultra Complete.
Some homes floors are not perfectly flat, often having some lips or barriers between rooms. The StepMaster system helps the MOVA V50 Ultra Complete navigate these barriers.
The StepMaster system uses two smaller wheels mounted underneath the robot to lift it up and over thresholds of up to 6cm. You can even choose in the app if it climbs over both wheels at the same time or if it straddles the barrier one wheel at a time, nice to have these options available to you.
Now my home doesn’t have any very high barriers that would need to V50 to use the StepMaster system… so I created one!
I used two foam pieces taped to the floor, creating a barrier approximately 4cm high, the V50 passed it like it wasn’t even there.
