Here are some photos from my first proper maintenance clean. I’m usually pretty wary of anything that claims to save time, but then ends up taking just as much time to maintain. That kind of defeats the whole point for me. I’m happy to say this wasn’t one of those experiences.
I opened up the internal dustbin and filter to clean them out, which was straightforward and even has clear instructions right on the bin. I checked the brush, mop pads, and rollers and removed quite a bit of hair that had built up over time. With a dog and a cat, this was expected, but I was glad it was easy to access everything without awkward angles or needing extra tools. This was my first time doing it and nothing felt frustrating to reach.
I also checked the soap level, which surprisingly hasn’t dropped below half after about a month of use. I emptied the dust tray in the dock and did a quick refill of the water tanks. Overall, the maintenance felt reasonable and didn’t counteract the time savings that made us get a robot vacuum in the first place.
