[V50 Ultra Complete] V50 First Impressions

For my second post, l'd like to give my first impressions of the Mova V50 Ultra Complete. 'II just refer to the robot as the V50. I was sent a V50 by Mova to test and review as part of their
"Get & Create" program. Mova has not told me what to say and I intend to give my open and honest feedback throughout the series of reviews.
Initial setup was extremely easy. I don't like products that are a hassle to figure out or take detailed instructions to get working. The V50 was as simple as taking it out of the box, plugging in the base and scanning the QR code on the robot. The app walks you through the setup steps perfectly and there was no confusion or steps that didn't work. Zero frustration. I removed all the protective films and docked to robot for its initial charge. Charging is quick and the robot was up to 100% within an hour and ready to do it's initial mapping.
The V50 looks and feels like a very high quality robot. The black is a nice matte finish that seems like it will resist scratches. The dock is also nicely designed and looks good if you have to keep it in a living area. One surprisingly nice feature of the V50 is that the top of the robot is connected with magnets instead of a hinge or latch. I like that because it's one less thing to break when you have curious kids around.
Overall first impressions of the V50 are a 10/10. Very smooth setup and high quality experience.

I agree! The magnetic top cover is actually one of my favorite design touches on the V50. It’s simple, practical, and feels very well thought out.
