[P50 Pro Ultra] MOVA P50 Pro Ultra – Clean water not being pumped from tank

Last edited by ZF460057 on 2026-9-4 07:16

Hello,

I am having an issue with my MOVA P50 Pro Ultra.

The base station is no longer pulling water from the clean water tank. When I start a mop washing or base cleaning cycle, I can hear the pump running and it sounds like it is trying to pump water, but no water is being drawn from the tank.

I can clearly see that no water is entering the transparent hose inside the clean water tank, and the water level in the tank does not decrease.

So far, I have tried:

Filling the clean water tank almost completely

Removing and reinstalling the tank several times

Making sure the hose and water intake are fully submerged

Checking for any obvious blockage or kink in the hose

Running several mop washing / base cleaning cycles

Applying light pressure on the tank while the pump is running

Trying with the tank lid open in case there was a vacuum issue

Unfortunately, nothing has worked. The pump can be heard running, but it seems unable to draw any water from the clean water tank.

The robot therefore does not receive water and the mop pads remain dry.

Could you please let me know what troubleshooting steps I should try next, or if this could indicate a defective pump or water supply system in the base station?

I can also provide photos and a video showing the issue if needed.

Thank you.

Thank you for already trying so many troubleshooting steps. You may also try the following:
1. Check whether the water pipe is properly installed, seated in the limit slot, free of kinks, and verify there are no foreign objects inside the water tank.
2. Open the cover of the clean‑water tank and check if its sealing rubber ring is correctly positioned.
3. Remove the clean‑water tank and inspect whether the sealing ring on the base station is damaged or missing.
4. Reinstall the clean‑water tank and press it firmly downwards.
If the issue persists, please contact customer service for further support.  Email: support@mova-tech.com
The pump might need a re-prime, here’s a couple tutorials on how to do it, but it basically involves injecting water into the tube: https://youtube.com/shorts/cFgp2ddvwuc?si=cBNUgkFXv0ndlF-b
