I am always touched by Patsy Cline's song,  I Love You So Much It Hurts. I can really identify with what she feels in her lyrics. To love someone so much that it hurts is true.

The Groomer, the Wedding, and the Meltdown: A love story disguised as a panic attack in a grooming salon...a true story

I went to pick up my dog from the groomer, expecting the usual cheerful chaos. Instead, Lee (normally the bubbliest, most energetic person in the room) looked like she was barely holding herself together. Her 16‑year‑old Pomeranian, Josie, was deaf, blind, and her constant companion. Lee brought her to work every single day. Josie was never out of her sight.

I found out Lee was scheduled to fly to Hawaii in just a couple of days for her only son’s wedding, and she had arranged for a pet sitter - a complete stranger - to care for Josie while she was gone. The thought of leaving her baby for the first time in 16 years had her so panicked, she was just about to cancel the sitter, the flight, and the entire trip right as I was walking in the door to pick up my dog.

I knew that fear well, as I myself had a special‑needs dog. I immediately offered to take Josie for her. The moment I said it, Lee burst into relieved, messy tears right there in the middle of the salon. The dogs were barking, dryers were blowing, and hair clippings were floating everywhere. Well then I started crying too, because I could literally see the fear and panic drain from her face in an instant.

Lee made it to her son’s wedding. Josie and I bonded like old friends, and Lee and I have shared a special connection ever since .  All thanks to one very unglamorous, very heartfelt meltdown in a dog‑grooming shop, and the mutual love and respect we have for our dogs who aren’t just pets to us, they’re family.

My Valentine’s Love Story – A Mother’s Love (and a Little Help from Mova)

I was first introduced to Mova by my previous partner. I think buying it was his version of contributing to housework — and honestly, it was amazing. I work long days, and coming home to spotless floors felt like such a gift. With two pets and a strong love for a clean home, Mova became my secret weapon. It vacuumed, it mopped, and I only had to touch the corners once a month. Bliss.

When that relationship ended, we parted kindly… but he took Mova with him.

I didn’t realize how much I depended on it until it was gone. Working 12-hour days and managing life on one income meant other priorities had to come first. As much as I wanted to run out and replace it, I couldn’t justify it at the time. And I truly missed coming home to those perfectly clean floors.

My mom had visited just before all of this. She saw how much I loved it and how much easier it made my life. She noticed the small things — how relaxed I felt, how proud I was of my home, how important cleanliness is to me.

And then she did something I will never forget.

    She bought me one.

She wanted to lighten my load. She wanted me to come home after long days and not feel overwhelmed. She wanted me to rest.

That’s what this really is. It’s not about a vacuum. It’s about a mother recognizing what her daughter needs — sometimes before she even says it — and stepping in with love and support.

Every time Mova turns on and starts making her rounds, I think of her. I think about being cared for. I think about being seen.

    That’s my Valentine’s story.

A mother’s love that shows up in practical ways.
A reminder that love isn’t always flowers and chocolates — sometimes it’s clean floors and peace of mind.

    Happy Valentine’s Day, Momma.
I love you more than you know. 💛

And to anyone wondering if it’s worth it? Trust me. Once you experience coming home to a clean home without lifting a finger — especially with pets — you’ll never look back.

    Best gift ever.

We never do much for Valentine’s Day - overrated commercial holiday. We show each other little acts of kindness or thought throughout the year instead

I got out of an abusive marriage and wasn't ready to date again untill recently, and I have a new love in my life and I got the robotic vacuum/mop fod her, my puppy, Casey. She just turned 8 m/o anx she sheds a lot. She's half Golden Retriever and half Border Collie. I love her so much but my landlord was upset when he saw all the fur in our apartment, yes "our", it's her home too. He can't do anything because she is being trained as a service animal, but it was a bit much. This vacuum helpes my relationship with both Casey and my landlord. I dont have to sweep 6 times a day because of fur and my landlord won't get upset again and say that I need to pay fod the HVAC filter again.

I spent Valentines day talking to my best friend Katie who I love ❤️,  and with Casey, who I love ❤️. What a wonderful day. 😀

i used the Mova the day before my birthday this week. Initially i was overwelmed by figuring out the setup and start, but i did watched videos, and set up everything so the vacum could work during the night. The day after I awake and all the ground floor was ready, so the space was ready for receiving my friends, and all family were able to spend the family day together, without the stress of cleaning. It was so helpful that we could relax, enjoy and share together with our friends!
